These are notes from a ten-week introductory course on Continuum Mechanics delivered for the doctoral training centre at the University of Nottingham in 2018 (which is part of the MAGIC consortium). On several previous occasions I have given lectures on similar material for the SMSTC (Scottish Mathematical Sciences Training Centre).
